Bravura Foods has launched a trio of sweets free from sugar, gluten and gelatine.
Free From Fellows, rolling into Holland & Barrett in March and Sainsbury’s in July, comprises gummy bears, cola bottles and midget gems (rsp: £1.99/100g). The range has been approved by the Vegetarian and Vegan Societies.
The newcomer would bridge a gap for “innovative sugar-free confectionery”, said company director Karl Morris. “We see gum and boiled sweets doing well but sugar-free gummy products are pretty much non-existent.”
Morris added Bravura Foods was in talks with all major retailers, who he said were showing “phenomenal interest”.
