Brazilian superfood brand Sambazon is targeting UK grocery with açai purée.
Designed to be sold in the frozen aisle, each pack of sachets (rsp: £4.99/4x100g) will be available from next month in two variants: Original Blend and Pure Unsweetened. Listings are yet to be confirmed.
“High-quality açai is still relatively unattainable,” claimed Alistair Cullen, Sambazon’s UK commercial director, describing the product as “tasty and healthy”.
