Street food-inspired brand Great Grub has secured its first national listing.
The food-to-go brand’s chicken kofta and chicken piri piri wraps (rsp: £3.25) will be rolled into 250 Boots from the beginning of next month. Made with halal chicken and pitched as “extremely healthy”, the wraps contained more protein and fewer carbs than most products on the market, claimed brand owner Go Gafoor.
“We are incredibly excited by the opportunity to offer consumers across the UK - who are looking for a tasty alternative to the usual food to go - the chance to tuck into our unique range of street food-inspired wraps,” said co-founder Sunil Kavuri.
The brand, launched earlier this year, is currently stocked in Sainsbury’s central London stores, where its korma daal, charcoal chicken, chicken kofta and chicken korma wraps are sold as part of a £3 meal deal.
