Bidvest 3663 has launched a new coffee brand called Beans and Steam.

The foodservice giant has introduced a full front-of-house ’coffee concept’ as part of the brand - including equipment, branded cups and point of sale material, so its customers can create their own coffee shops.

The sustainably sourced coffee is available in a number of pack sizes and in four blends - medium roast, Fairtrade Brazilian roast, Fairtrade medium roast and dark roast. Decaffeinated coffee is also available in individual pods.

Bidvest 3663 head of customer marketing Catherine Hinchcliff said Beans and Steam would allow its customers to tap the £6.2bn coffee market. “We know that coffee and hot beverages play a key role in our customers’ sales, therefore we wanted to create a whole branded front-of-house coffee concept that will be as easy as possible for customers to implement without being ‘locked in’ to expensive franchisee agreements,” she said.

“We are a nation of coffee lovers, with discerning taste, therefore we know we need to offer a premium concept, while remaining competitively priced. We believe Beans and Steam offers this.”
