Prawn crackers are back on shelf at Sainsbury’s following a supply problem.
The retailer revealed it was “having issues with the supply of prawn crackers at the moment” earlier this week after a shopper complained on Facebook they could not find them.
Sainsbury’s website was only offering prawn crackers from Sharwood’s and Blue Dragon as The Grocer went to press. Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Ocado and Morrisons had branded and own-label options.
A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman said: “This was a very run-of-the-mill stock level issue and customers should now see stocks returning to their normal levels.”
