Doors open to Jempson's new Budgens store

Jempson’s relaunched its Budgens store in Hawkhurst, Kent, this week under the dual fascia Jempson’s Budgens.

The store is a smaller format version of the independent retailer’s flagship store in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, and has been designed with an emphasis on fresh and local produce. A Jempson’s Café has also been created.

The plan was to roll out the format to the retailer’s other Budgens branded stores in the near future, a spokesman said.
