Bidvest Fresh has snapped up Essex-based Knight Meats to expand its butchery portfolio.
The purchase, which was agreed on 1 April, will see the specialist fresh meats supplier join Bidvest Fresh, which supplies fresh meat, dairy and produce to the catering industry as part of the Bidvest Group.
Knight Meats will continue to trade under the same name and will remain under the current management.

“Knight Meats is a fabulous business and we will continue to help support and promote them through our customer base of independent restaurants and caterers in the region.”
