Bob Martin is expanding with a new cat litter brand it claims is lighter and cheaper than rivals.

Ten litres of its Felight weighed 3kg, which it claimed was 2kg lighter than market-leader Catsan. At £4.49 for a pack, it also claimed to undercut Catsan - currently about £5.49 for 10-litres in the mults.

Felight, which rolls out to Tesco stores on 19 November and other retailers next year, will be supported with TV and PR activity in 2013.
