Asda is recalling twin packs of its frozen Extra Special White Chocolate & Raspberry cheesecake as the label doesn’t warn allergy suffers the products contain egg and sulphur dioxide.

The retailer said a packaging error led to the ingredients being left off the labels of the 230g packs carrying a best-before date of the end of September. It has contacted allergy organisations so they can alert members to the recall.
