Unilever is introducing a new range of Dove shower products which it predicts will achieve £5m in first year sales.

The Dove VisibleCare Bodywash range comprises three shower gels ­- Renewing, Brightening and Softening ­– which will hit shelves in the new year.

The products contain moisturisers which Unilever claims are found naturally in skin and moisturize more effectively than current shower gels on the market.

Unilever will support the launch with a £2m marketing investment which includes TV advertising set to air in early 2010.
