Whyte & Mackay

Sales: £80.4m Growth: +8.2%

At £17.73 a litre, this is the cheapest blended whisky in the top 100. Whyte & Mackay has also had the steepest price drop, of 3.3%, a reflection of growing use of featured space deals to shift volumes.

Whyte & Mackay eschewed the new and premium route and stuck to its core SKU, adding £6.1m and ramping up volumes 12% to 46.7m with the help of the occasional offer - and it’s creeping up on Grant’s.
