Costcutter has launched a new mobile app to provide retailers with easy ordering options and access to member services.
Available on all Apple and Android devices, retailers can scan, search and order products for delivery through new app ActivMobile. Featured promotions, offers on own-brand range Independent, service announcements, order summaries and company news will be instantly accessible for retailers.
While on the go, Costcutter members can also log in to the ActivHub secure online portal, previously MyCostcutter, with access to key invoicing systems, documents, point-of-sale tools, news, blogs and video guides. “ActivHUB has been very well received by our members and ActivMOBILE is the natural next step,” said IT director for Costcutter Kevin Widdrington. “It’s the latest development in our ongoing drive to help our members harness technology to enhance their store operations. Giving instant access to data, communication and essential day-to-day information, it was developed in close consultation with our retailers.” The new app is part of the ActivTechnology suite which was developed in-house by the Costcutter Supermarkets Group and is free to download.
