Müller Dairy has appointed Bill Mathieson as commercial director.

The maker of Müller Corner and Müllerlight said today that Mathieson, 42, will take up the role in June.

Mathieson is currently European vice president of sales and customer development at Coca Cola, where he has been for five years. Prior to that, he held commercial director roles at Nestlé, including in the Nestlé Chilled Dairy business.

Ronald Kers, CEO of Müller UK & Ireland Group, said: “This is an exciting appointment which again underlines our ambition to grow our business in the yogurt and chilled desserts sector.

“Bill has an excellent track record and I look forward to welcoming him to our management team.”

Last week Müller announced pop singer Nicole Scherzinger as the face of its chilled dessert range, as it added Cadbury’s Pots of Joy dessert pots to the line.
