Nabeel Ramzan, MD of United Wholesale Grocers, has been appointed vice chairman of Landmark Wholesale.

At 31, Ramzan is Landmark’s youngest-ever board member. He has been MD of UWG since 2009. “The future prosperity of members will depend very much on the strength of the group and I am fully committed to developing strategies that will ensure Landmark is always the ‘wholesaler of choice’,” he said.

Landmark Wholesale MD Martin Williams added: “Nabeel is a great strategic thinker as well as a day-to-day practical operator and will provide great support to our chairman [Sam Wilcox], the rest of the board and the central office team.”
