Blakemore Wholesale Distribution has appointed David Boothby as its new head of vending.
Boothby joined Blakemore Wholesale Distribution, which forms part of the AF Blakemore Group, last month, and has more than 20 years’ experience across the vending sector.
“I am delighted to join AF Blakemore at this stage of the company’s evolution and am committed to placing the customer at the heart of everything we do,” said Boothby.
“Integral to this will be a review of the way we service our customers via technology and the creation of new approaches towards online ordering and e-commerce.”
Boothby said the importance of establishing a comprehensive one-stop solution would play a central role in his future strategy.
“We want to be the number one choice for vending operators in the supply of both consumables and associated ancillary products,” he added. “It is great to be part of a family-run business with strong values, and a core element of this culture is to develop strong partnerships across the supply chain for the benefit of customers.”
