Restaurant Associates, the executive dining division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has appointed James Boyle as managing director.
Boyle, who joined Compass in 2006, is promoted to the role from business excellence director, where he was responsible for marketing innovation and a portfolio of client contracts. He has 20 years’ experience in industry having held roles at Sodexo before joining the business.
Boyle will report directly to Compass MD Dennis Hogan and replaces Andy Harris, who has stepped down from Restaurant Associates after three years at the helm to join the group market development team at Compass.
“I am delighted that James is joining the UK & Ireland executive team,” said Dennis Hogan.
“He has extensive operational experience in the executive dining sector and understands exactly what our clients are looking for. James will bring fantastic enthusiasm and energy to the role and I look forward to him leading the Restaurant Associates business in its next phase of development.
