Bidvest 3663 group finance director Ian Uren and group commercial director Ian Crawford have both left the foodservice wholesaler, it has emerged.

A spokeswoman for Bidvest 3663 confirmed Crawford had decided to take early retirement and that Uren had decided to pursue opportunities outside the company.

Commercial finance director Alison Brogan would assume all financial responsibilities for the business, Bidvest 3663 said.

Brogan has worked at the company since September 2004. She joined as director of finance for its FFC division and in September 2007 was promoted to commercial finance director.

Andrew Selley will assume operational responsibility for the group’s commercial function.

The Grocer revealed in July that Selley, chief executive of Bidvest logistics, had assumed responsibility for both the Bidvest 3663 and Bidvest Logistics operations after managing director Alex Fisher left the business “by mutual consent” in May.

Crawford had worked at Bidvest 3663 for 15 years in roles including purchasing director and buying & marketing director. Bidvest 3663 described his 15-year career at the company as “brilliant.”

Uren, meanwhile, joined Bidvest 3663 in 1996 as a systems accountant, rising to head of finance in 1997, financial controller in 1998, director of finance for 3663’s frozen, fresh & chilled division in 2000, and then group finance director in 2004.
