Molson Coors CEO Mark Hunter has replaced Ralph Findlay as chairman of the British Beer & Pub Association.

Hunter has been CEO of Molson Coors since 2007 following a number of sales, marketing and commercial roles both in the UK and Canada.

He said that he wanted the BBPA to champion the alcohol category by reconnecting drinkers with beer.

“We want the government to share a growth agenda that creates jobs and stimulates the responsible consumption of lower-strength alcohol with policies that support community pubs,” he added.
