Passing through Elstree, I decided to visit Morrisons which was unknown to me. my family had been complaining about the ubiquitous pink ladies and braeburns (tough skins, no taste and not sweet) and I was impressed by the wide choice of apples on sale. I bought one or two apples of each of the varieties I had not seen previously. Of these, I found the Smitten apple quite delicious and if they are only on sale at Morrisons I will have to go back!
