Looking past the '80% less saturated fat than butter' label:
The new FLORA has its total fats reduced by nearly a quarter; that is a big reduction in the active ingredient in a fat spread - and a cost reduction in the raw ingredients of making the spread.
The largest reduction is in the mono- and poly-unsaturated fats and the omega-6, which are considered to be healthy fats, so the new spread has now a relative higher percentage of saturated fats in the fat content.
how healthy can that be?
