Come on Mr. Philips, who do you think your kidding with your painted smile. I have emailed the company several times expressing my dissatisfaction with the current regime. As a loyal Morrisons customer for over 35 years; and I mean LOYAL, I have now defected to the discounters.

In my emails, I explained that my loyalty came from Sir Ken Morrisons philosophy of value for money. Yes, there were problems with integrating the larger Safeway acquisition into the Morrison offer. However, what happened was that traditional Morrison products were modified to accommodate Southern tastes (supposedly) but that didn't work, then there is Morrisons patronizing approach to customer feedback and the like. How could you afford to lose the patronage of such loyal customers? Simple answer, you couldn't! As I said in my emails, steaming vegetables are no substitute for good vale. Especially in the North of England. Morrisons has lost its way and Sir Ken must be agonizing over the direction it is now taking after his years of painstakingly building it from virtually nothing.
