DHL & Hain Daniels partnership

Hain Daniels has extended its partnership with DHL, which will now include co-packing at its multi-user facility in Huntingdon.

Hartley’s, Robertson’s, Sun-Pat, Gale’s and Roses are currently being managed and distributed on behalf of Hain Daniels by DHL. Activities will now also include sleeving and shrink wrapping, as well as handling display units and shelf ready packaging for Hartley’s jelly and jam ranges. DHL will also continue to collaborate with Hain Daniels to source packaging and support the development of new concepts.

“We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Hain Daniels to include co-packing at our Huntingdon multi-user site,” said Alastair Isbister, VP consumer business development at DHL.

“Already an industry-leading facility with BRC accreditation, we now look forward to implementing further initiatives to streamline Hain Daniels’ operation to support the company’s future growth plans.”

The partnership between DHL and Hain Daniels began in 2013, managing storage, dispatch and customer deliveries for ambient product ranges.

“Our decision three years ago to outsource our ambient operation required an entirely new supply chain for the business, for which finding the right partner was crucial,” said Hain Daniels group supply chain and business performance director Alex Tompkins. “DHL continues to demonstrate exceptional sector expertise and flexibility in meeting our business needs and we’re pleased to be building on our partnership with today’s announcement of our new co-packing facility.”
