Chilean regulators have suspended stock trading in supermarket chain Santa Isabel owned by global retailer Ahold.
Santa Isabel failed to post its 2002 earnings by Monday’s deadline the bourse said.
The Dutch group is already embroiled in financial accounting scandals in the US and Argentina, and was in the process of selling Santa Isabel to Chilean group Cencosud.
