Cadbury continues to be one of the most lucrative licences, adding an extra £12.1m in sales of products such as ice creams, desserts and cakes for licence holders including R&R Ice Cream and Premier.
In August, Mondelez reunited the confectionery and biscuit arms of Cadbury after acquiring the rights for the licence to make Fingers and Animals from Burton’s. Müller’s extension of the Pots of Joy range, meanwhile, has given a welcome boost to Cadbury chilled desserts.
