Coniston Brewery has won its second Supreme Champion award after taking the top honours at this year’s Great British beer Festival.

The brewery’s 8.5% abv No 9 Barley wine secured the award at London’s Olympia this week - 14 years after its Bluebird beer was crowned Supreme Champion.

“It is great to see a rare beer style being championed,” said Mike Benner, CEO of the festival’s organiser, CAMRA.
