Halewood has launched a 250ml can across its Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer range.

The new format is being rolled out across Crabbie’s Original, Light and Scottish Raspberry variants now (rsp: £1.39), featuring a ‘bright and colourful’ design. Price-marked £2.50 packs comprising two drinks are also available.

Launched in an effort to extend the brand’s reach, the trio would broaden the drink’s appeal to a younger audience and make it more accessible across different occasions, such as festivals and barbecues, said senior brand manager Michelle Chadwick. In addition, Crabbie’s in cans also refrigerated faster than in bottles and so was “perfect for the summer months”, she added.

Halewood is supporting the launch with “significant” sampling activity throughout the UK.
