Toorank Distilleries has launched a rum range that it claims offers a fuller taste.

Rebellion Rum, available in spiced, black and bianco (all 37.5% abv) were being launched in the on and off-trade to offer “a superior alternative” to established rum brands, it said.

The range is led by the spiced variant - a blend of Caribbean rums and exotic spices described as a smooth spirit with vanilla and citrus notes.

“The range has been developed to cater to demand among the trade for a return to fuller-tasting quality rums that can be used as an everyday pour,” said director of sales Chris Lake.

The spiced variant is £16.99 while the black and bianco are £15.99.
