There are few occasions that bring together every corner of the grocery industry quite like the Grocer Gold Awards.
From supermarket CEOs and senior retail leaders to suppliers, wholesalers and industry partners, more than 1,000 guests gathered at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 7 July to celebrate another year of innovation, resilience and outstanding achievement across food and drink.
The evening culminated in Tesco reclaiming the coveted Grocer of the Year title, recognising a year in which the retailer impressed judges with its combination of value, innovation, operational excellence and sustained market share growth.
But as ever, the awards were about far more than the trophies. They celebrated the people behind the industry’s success from frontline colleagues and store teams to category leaders, entrepreneurs and more all coming together for grocery’s biggest night.
Our gallery captures the atmosphere throughout the evening, from arrivals and networking to the celebrations after the winners were announced.
