US: Salmon Flavoured Muttstard

Many Americans love to top their hotdogs with a generous amount of mustard and now their pets can get in on the action too. This Salmon Flavoured Muttstard ($3.98/£3.07) from doggy condiment brand Petchup can be used to liven up dog food or water.

UK: Doggy Popcorn

Popcorn is the healthy snack of the moment, but now it’s not exclusively for humans. The Barking Bakery have created Cheese Flavoured Doggy Popcorn (£1.50), which can be used as a treat or training reward.

South Africa: Rooibos & Chamomile Crunch

For owners of multiple pets, it can get expensive buying a product to suit each of their needs. Enter Rooibos & Chamomile Health Crunch (ZAR39.00/£2.23), a natural food supplement that will maintain healthy skin in cats, dogs and horses.

US: Salmon, Coconut & Chia Bakes

The superfood trend has started spreading into the pet category, and CocoChia Bakes with Salmon, Coconut Oil & Spinach ($3.99/£3.08) is one example. These tasty cat treats are packed with nutritious ingredients including salmon, turkey livers, chia and flaxseeds.

US: Heat Protection Styling Lotion

You only have to tune in to Crufts to see that some pets are seriously pampered. This Pre Blow Dry Protection Heat Styling Lotion ($10.99/£8.49) will make sure those perfectly styled coats are protected from the heat of the hairdryer.

US: Daily Brew Tea Bags

Daily Brew Tea Bags for dogs are a caffeine-free blend containing rooibos, green tea, cranberry and chicken. Praised for its holistic health benefits, a cup a day is claimed to keep the vet away.

Japan: Tuna Cat Food

Designed for indoor cats, this tinned Tuna Cat Food (JPY106.00/£0.81) joins the Miaw Miaw range, which features Tuna & Chicken and Tuna & Whitebait flavours.

US: Goat & Pumpkin Entrée

Protein has spread throughout the grocery aisles, and has now hit the petcare market as well. This Grass Fed Goat Entrée with Fresh Pumpkin ($3.47/£2.69) contributes to a high-protein diet as well as maintaining healthy joints, digestion, skin and coat.

Germany: Milk for Cats with Goji

It's not just humans going wild for so-called superfood goji berries. Michi Michi Milk for Cats with Organic Goji (€4.99/£4.29) has goji and anti-hairball malt for a happy and healthy cat.

US: Beef & Apple Purée

It’s bound to get boring eating kibble for every meal, and that’s probably what Purina Beyond Natural had in mind when creating Natural Beef & Apple Purée ($2.79/£2.16). The resealable pouch with nozzle means it can be added easily to dry dogfood.
