Quilmes beer has won national listings with Tesco its first major foray into the multiples.
The 4.9% abv Argen-tinian lager will be in 412 Tescos nationwide (rsp: £3.29 for 970ml). Importer Morgenrot said it expected the beer, which has strong links to Argentina's football league, to "make an instant impact" during the World Cup.
"We are looking forward to making Quilmes a leading brand in the UK," said Graham Archibald, senior national account manager.
Morgenrot replaced Pierhead Purchasing as Quilmes' importer and distributor in January.
