Eager shoppers mobbed Asda’s first George clothes franchise when it opened this morning.
The 6,000 sq ft pilot franchise opened today at the Sandpiper CI store in Jersey’s Liberty Wharf shopping centre.
“Shoppers everywhere are looking for the highest quality at the most affordable prices and that’s exactly what the new George store will be offering,” said director of George International Kevin Rusling. “We are delighted with the response from Jersey shoppers today.”
Sandpiper CI boss Tony O’Neill added: “This really is the right time to be opening a George store in Jersey, with shoppers looking for real value in the current economic climate.
“George’s award-winning designs at customer-winning prices are going to be very popular with all Jersey consumers, particularly families with children.”
