Bacardi is extending its Originals range of pre-mix cocktails into the off-trade, four months after its ­on-trade launch.

Single-serve bottles of 5.4% abv Bacardi Mojito and 5% abv Bacardi Cuba Libre will launch into the major supermarkets from the start of July (rsp: £2.50/ 275ml), backed by a £3m multimedia campaign.

"We're increasingly seeing a shift in consumption from on to off-trade so we didn't follow the traditional timeframe for launch," explained Bacardi Brown-Forman marketing director Liam Newton.
