Peter Beamish has moved back into the drinks industry from Campbell Soup Ireland to become managing director of Constellation Europe’s Irish operation, Allied Drinks.
Before working for Campbell, Beamish held a number of positions within the Pernod Ricard group, first with Irish Distillers and then with Fitzgerald & Co.
In 1999, Beamish became MD at Hayman Barwell Jones.
He subsequently joined Campbell Soup Ireland in 2002, where he led the acquisition and integration of the large dry soup company Erin Foods.
Constellation said it had created the new position of MD of Allied following rapid growth
in Ireland in the past two years.
It has also created the role of sales manager, appointing Padraig Murray from Diageo. Murray worked as the sales manager for off-licence trade with Diageo, Ireland.
He will now be responsible for driving sales of the brands in the Allied portfolio.
