Now farmers in Marne are being encouraged to discard their drawers in the name of soil health. Agriculteurs have been asked to bury their briefs for 12 weeks in an experiment to determine the volume of pants-loving worms, fungi and bacteria present in the soil. The more knackered the kecks after three months underground, the better the news!
It’s an experiment worth trying, though it’s worth pointing out it only works with cotton undies – dispose of PVC, fishnet and snakeskin items responsibly, readers.
