September! As everyone in grocery knows, it is now officially Christmas time, so well done Asda for getting some mince pies on shelf while it was – just – still August.
The expire-in-October ‘festive’ treats prompted delight from shoppers, who merrily tweeted things like ‘too bloody early’, ‘[going] elsewhere’, ‘flamin desperate to grab our money’ and ‘ugh’.
