You know those cute animal-themed cafés where you can go and play with dogs or stroke cats while you enjoy a cuppa?
In San Francisco, they’re trying it with rats. And no, it’s not a clever way of turning around an unexpected infestation, it’s on purpose. Scary tourist attraction The San Francisco Dungeon’s pop-up Rat Café will offer ‘rattucinos’ and ‘rattes’, as well as cake, to those brave enough to enter.
Entry costs $49.99, which includes unlimited coffee - plus the chance to adopt one of the rats, if you like them.
