Malt House Vintners, the range of wines by Booker cash and carry, has three rosé additions.

The rosés are available in three of the company's sub-ranges, including the South African Rouwke's Drift and French Marcel Hubert labels, priced at £4.55 and £3.35 respectively.

"By introducing three rosés, Booker is catering for all tastes and budgets in this increasingly popular category," said Steve Fox, director of retail and premier development.

The third addition is a White Zinfandel, which joins the Californian River Wild brand, priced at £4.09. Last month Booker added a Pinot Grigio to its River Wild portfolio, which Fox said was on course to be a £1m brand.

He said the rosé variants in all three ranges would offer a strong return for independent retailers because the wine variety continued to grow in the off-trade.
