Britvic is launching its Drench water brand into supermarket channels for the first time backed by a £5.5m marketing campaign from next week.

The brand, which was launched into impulse in 2006, will now be available in 1.5 and 2-litre bottles, as well as multipacks of the existing 500ml sports cap bottles.

The brand was redesigned last year to focus on the benefits of 'mental' hydration. The new ad is the next stage in the revamp, and introduces the strapline 'Brains perform better when they're hydrated - your brain is 75% water, stay drenched'.

The range will be on sale in Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Somerfield and Waitrose.
