Sandea Wholesale said its decision to buy Swastik International marked a ‘strategic move to drive growth and expansion’

Sugro UK member Sandea Wholesale has entered into an agreement to buy Swastik International.

Sandea Wholesale, which was founded in 2019 and is based in Harrow, Middlesex, specialises in delivering a wide range of fmcg products, cosmetics, toiletries, and over-the-counter medicines to retailers across the UK.

The wholesaler said its decision to buy Swastik International marked a “strategic move to drive growth and expansion”.

Swastik International, based in Harrow, was established in 2011 and has earned “a solid reputation for its quality fmcg offerings and reliable service”, Sandea Wholesale said.

The unified business will operate under the Sandea Wholesale brand, offering an “expanded product portfolio, enhanced logistical capabilities, and a deepened commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction”.

The integration process will begin immediately, with a focus on ensuring a “seamless transition for customers, partners, and employees, and committing to maintaining the high standards of quality, reliability, and service that their clients have come to expect”.

“This acquisition represents an exciting new chapter for both companies. Swastik International has built a strong reputation and loyal customer base. We are thrilled to welcome their team into the Sandea family,” said Sandea Wholesale director Sanjeet Manek.

“Together, we are better positioned to meet the evolving needs of our customers and accelerate our growth plans across the UK and beyond.”

Sugro business development manager Shruti Senapati added: “Congratulations to everyone at Sandea Wholesale on this remarkable milestone. This acquisition marks an important step forward in the company’s ongoing growth and development.

“Leveraging the strengths of both companies will improve their product selection and distribution capabilities, while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and value. It marks a significant advancement, allowing Sandea Wholesale to scale sustainably and extend its UK footprint.”
