Kerrygold is moving into the US alcoholic drinks market thanks to a tie-up between owner the Irish dairy Board (IDB) and spirits importer Imperial Brands.
Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur, which launched last week in Illinois and Florida (rsp: $19.99), is made with Kerrygold natural Irish cream, Irish whiskey and chocolate. IDB said the launch “reflected the brand’s global growth,” but would not comment on a potential UK or Irish rollout.
