Hipp Organic is expanding its line-up with its first range of desserts for toddlers aged 15 months+.
The Mix Me Fruit and Cereal pots (rsp £1.19/121g) will be available from this month in Tesco, Asda and Ocado in two flavours: Apple, Pear, Strawberry & Blueberry; and Pear, Peach, Banana & Passionfruit. Hipp Organic said the pots were the first within the ambient baby food category to use a two-pot format, with one containing fruit puree and the other crispy cereal bites.
“Through this innovation, Hipp Organic has created a product to appeal to older babies and toddlers as their tastes develop,” said group product manager Karen Hill. “As a strong brand leader within the 12months+ category with tray meals, this completely new format offers the opportunity to drive additional sales, while providing consumers with a toddler-friendly dessert in the 12month+ sector.”
