The Collective has removed references to Russia from its fudge yoghurt to show solidarity with Ukraine.

The company has rebranded the yoghurt’s packaging and renamed it to Fudge as a result of the “devastating crisis in Ukraine”.

It states that the recipe, previously called Russian Fudge, is not connected to Russia but is in fact a Kiwi name for a Scottish recipe. The yoghurts are UK made and available in 450g tubs.

“We know this is an incredibly sensitive situation and we want to be clear that we don’t condone, in any way, the events that are happening to those in Ukraine and all other innocent people affected,” said the brand on Instagram.

The rebranded yoghurts will be available in supermarkets in the next few weeks.
