BBC Panorama’s 2025 investigation into babyfood appears to have been detrimental to the sector. Overall value sales have dipped 0.8% with 3.9 million fewer packs sold [Worldpanel by Numerator 52 w/e 22 February 2026]. Baby finger foods have seen the sharpest value and volume declines, down £3.6m on 5.2 million fewer packs.
