Chilled vegetarian food specialist Cauldron Foods has added Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil and Mexican Bean flavours to its pâté range.
General manager David Arrow said pâtés were one of the company's bestselling ranges, as the diverse flavours also attracted mainstream consumers. "They are looking primarily for great taste and variety in convenience foods and meat content becomes irrelevant," he explained.
Both new lines come in cases of six 115g sleeve-packed tubs, with a recommended retail price of £1.25 a tub. The Sun-Dried Tomato pâté can also be used as a bruschetta topping.
