Pizza specialist Schwan's is beefing up its frozen ready meals offering.
The manufacturer is relaunching its family-sized Chicago Town-branded Classic Beef Lasagne with an "improved flavour" and spicing up its portfolio with the introduction of a new variety, Texas Chilli Lasagne.
The company, which is already riding high with Britain's top-selling pizza brand, said the idea behind the Texas Chilli was to offer shoppers an American twist on a traditional favourite. Both meals, weighing in at one kilo each, carry rsps of £2.99 and can be microwaved or oven-cooked from frozen.
Brand manager Janet McQuillan said: "We are offering consumers even more choice.
"The family sized lasagnes are ideal for busy people looking for a convenient and satisfying meal."
