Importer Trustin Unimerchants is launching US market leader Classico pasta sauces in the UK next week. The launch will be supported with a £250,000 regional TV campaign which starts in March, together with press advertising and PR. In the UK Classico will be competing against Sacla, Five Brothers and Loyd Grossman brands. The total UK pasta sauce market is worth £168.6m [AC Nielsen]. Tomato and basil is the bestselling Classico flavour in the US. A cream based pasta sauce range under the Classico brand will follow later this year. Rsp: £1.55 for 400g. {{P&P }}
