Brakes, the foodservice distributor, has appointed Frank McKay as group chief executive officer with immediate effect.
Bruno Deschamps, who has been acting CEO and chairman, will continue as chairman of the group’s holding company.
McKay was previously chief executive of builders merchant Travis Perkins.
“Frank is a highly talented and energetic leader who brings with him a wealth of expertise gained from more than 30 years’ experience in various senior management roles in the UK, France and the US,” said Deschamps.
