Landmark Wholesale is set to relaunch its own-label value range and its Winners promotional package to help retailers through the recession.

The Lifestyle Value range would be relaunched in the new year to revitalise the brand and offer shoppers real value for money, the buying group said. Although the relaunch was still a "work in progress" it would involve extra focus and promotion at depot level, it added.

Its Winners promotional package, which was launched in 2001 and is designed to help retailers capitalise on key sporting events, would also relaunch under the new name Sporting Winners.

The package would be built around four key sporting events throughout the year which would be decided by Landmark each year. "We are already looking at ways to build on the huge successes achieved across our Hot House retail redevelopment programme, which is driving the growth of the symbol group sector," said Landmark Wholesale MD Martin Williams at the wholesaler's agm.

Full-year sales for Hot House stores were up 18% this year and sales of Landmark Wholesale's own-label brand Lifestyle were up 17%, beating sales growth expectations of 10%, he added.
