Waitrose has signed a deal to take Duchy Originals to the Continent. It will supply Spanish department store El Corte Ingl s with the upmarket range, which Waitrose acquired in 2009.
Waitrose s tie-up with Duchy Originals in which the supermarket sells the upmarket range exclusively as Duchy Originals From Waitrose could account for as much as 7% of its total sales, according to MD Mark Price.
Waitrose is further cashing in on its exclusive licensing deal with Duchy Originals by re-branding a raft of its Waitrose Organic products to Duchy Originals by Waitrose.
