Tesco's regeneration manager Martin Venning has left to set up a consultancy specialising in property, planning and regeneration.
Venning has more than 16 years' experience in retail store and shopping centre management. He held his most recent Tesco post for three years, helping to manage its relationships with local government and regional bodies. The six trial regeneration schemes that Venning was involved in created more than 2,500 permanent jobs, said Tesco.
Venning has not been replaced because David North, Tesco government affairs director, has taken on some of his responsibilities.
